Susan
McDonough provides training and
communications expertise and has tracked & met deliverables in support of a
statewide IT implementation project. Working as an external training consultant she has developed and managed
all training communications to a target audience of 10,000-plus users. In
addition, she was responsible for developing all training reporting
deliverables per the client contract.
She has provided content review
and instructional design support to a team of 12 instructional designers and
has worked with such organizations as American Express where she provided
instructional design expertise and developed materials for an IT implementation
in the customer service disputes division.
As an external training
consultant, she has prepared and presented program proposals and project plans
to the client, conducted training needs assessments in support of business
objectives, designed, developed and implemented program materials in
multi-media formats and established and implemented measurements to assess
program success.
In her work with Ryder System,
Inc., she designed, developed and implemented training and communications
programs, conducted needs analysis to identify performance solutions for
multiple operations audiences, prepared and presented training plan proposals
to senior management, designed, developed and implemented training for process
improvement, sales, diversity, and customer service using print, video, and
audio media, developed and facilitated train-the-trainer sessions for a 100+
field training group and developed and implemented a communications program to
support a major corporate initiative.
Susan has also worked with the
Bank of America as a Human Resources Generalist where she was responsible for
human resource activities for 30 local banking centers, including recruiting,
benefits administration, employee relations, and termination. During her time
there, she developed and delivered human resource policy training for banking
center managers and conducted local market research to identify recruitment
needs.
Her international experience
includes work with the Peace Corps in the Democratic Republic of the Congo,
Africa where she conducted assessment of local healthcare needs and developed
an action plan, implemented a financial reporting system for a local area
healthcare organization and designed and conducted financial training for 22
healthcare managers.
